ENJOY SUMMER WITH AN ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE
This summer one can engage in many activities to enjoy the sun. When you go to the beach like Boracay for example, you can engage in various activities and rides available for rent. You can go for some extreme adventure like white water rafting , zipline and much more. Or you can try ATV riding.
I had just concluded the teambuilding workshop for Merzci Breads and Pastries Management Team. And the company’s CEO Mr. Jonathan Lo was kind enough to lend us two of his ATVs. So we use the vehicle to transport our gadgets and equipment, to explore the venue and for the fun of course .It was a nice feature of our workshop as many of the riders were first timers.
But everyone survived their first-first few minutes jitters as they learned the basic techniques of riding an all-terrain vehicle. Many first riders found the experience both fun and challenging and at the end of the day, new ATV riders feel a great sense of accomplishment and are excited about the new sport they’ve discovered.
ATV riding is a fun outdoor activity. For first timers, one must remember that ATVs are not toys. The improper use of ATVs can result in a serious accident. However, with the right preparation and practice, one can safely develop and expand their riding skills.
The nature of ATV riding demands that you wear protective clothing. Although complete protection is not possible, knowing what to wear and how to wear it can make you feel more secure and comfortable when you ride and reduce the probability of harm.
Right preparation includes wearing the right clothing which includes good gloves. Gloves can help preserve your hands from getting sore and tired, as well as offer protection in the case of a fall. The recommended protective footwear is a couple of strong, over-the-ankle boots with low heels to help prevent your feet from falling away off the footrests. A long-sleeved shirt or tee shirt and long pants are minimum requirements for rider security.

Eye Protection You must be capable to see clearly to drive safely. An object such as a stone, branch, or even a bug that strikes you in the face can distract you. If you are hit in the eyes without proper protection, you can be blinded. Regular sunglasses do not offer proper security while driving an ATV.
