THE NEW RAU RAM CAFE OPENS

Nice ambiance, spacious parking space, friendly staff and most of all, delicious authentic Vietnamese and Asian Fusion Cuisines, these are just a few of the many reasons why you should visit the new Rau Ram Café. Located at Prk. Marapara 1 Zone 2, Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City, Philippines, Rau Ram Café has just recently opened their new restaurant right in front of the old Rau Ram Café (Formerly called Saigon Café).

1. Members of the Negrense Blogging Society; 2. One of the owners, Ms Sylvia Gerangue giving her welcome remarks and; 3. cutting of the ceremonial ribbon

It’s quite amazing to note that Rau Ram Café, which once started as a mere extension of the house of the owner is now housed in a beautiful building with ample parking space. With the opening of their new building, I’m pretty sure that the restaurant will be flocked by many foodies  as in their old space many cannot be accommodated especially during lunch time.

Rau Ram Café has been patronized by the people of Bacolod City because of the  authenticity of their food that is simply amazing. Despite the difficulty of finding the place because of their location and the simplicity of their place in the past, people continue to patronize their place because of their food.

(1) Lychee Pineapple Cooler for only PhP 53.00; (2) Banh Mi Sandwich which is a complete meal by itself only comes at PhP 75.00; (3)  Carrot Cake ; ( 4) Ga Chien, which is  a five-spiced fried chicken served with fried rice comes only for PhP 167.00

It’s heartwarming to hear from one of the owners, Sylvia Gerangue  how she recognized the Negros Bloggers for helping them market their place. In fact, The Negros bloggers were the ones who were asked to cut the ceremonial ribbon. Well, there were quite many bloggers attended the opening ceremony so some of us including me just opted to stay in the audience to take some photos.

Again we had the opportunity to taste food from their menu.

I’m happy that I (Jojo Vito Designs Gallery) was given the chance to supply some decors and lighting fixtures for the new Rau Ram Cafe. Above (1) is a Lotus Designed Lighted Wall Decor in fiberglass which you will immediately see at the front desk of the restaurant. (2) The Large Balls in Fiberglass with crushed golden capiz light the main entrance of the restaurant.  Smaller versions of these balls surround the entire restaurant.  (3) Wall Sconces in fiberglass, still with crushed golden capiz guard  the Main entrance.
