FEAST AT VIKINGS BUFFET RESTAURANT,SM CITY BACOLOD
Vikings Buffet Restaurant , the largest buffet restaurant in the country opened their newest and first in the Visayas –the Vikings Buffet Restaurant at SM City, Bacolod.
I was happy to be invited as part of the bloggers and media group to be amongst the first to experience what they have in stored for the people of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
It’s amazing to note that many patron really went to dine with their Vikings mask and headdress to avail 50% discount
We arrived at the place around 5:30 in the afternoon and the queue was very long. Unfortunately, too many people were already inside, so I had the difficulty of taking pictures to avoid showing people in my blogs without their permission.

Checking the offerings of Vikings, I can’t help but really be amazed by the extremely wide array of selections. In fact, even I just tasted their food in small amounts, I was not able to try them all. I particularly love their Japanese Corner. Their sashimi and sushi were really great. I have also tried other Asian Cuisines and their Pata Tim was spectacular. I was not able to reach their Italian Corner as I was already full.
I like also their wide array of drinks, from sodas to natural juices, coffee, tea…oh just name it. They even have a beer and I also tried their Japanese wine.
The Dessert Counter was a feast to the eye. The halo-halo was heaven coz you can put unlimited ingredients into your bowl. They have also integrated some local sweet delicacies from Bacolod City, even my personal favorite taho.
Isn’t it obvious that I love sweets?
The night was really fun for our group as two of the members of the Negros Bloggers celebrated their Birthdays at Vikings: Dhada Garcia and Dennis Lo. They were serenaded by a group of wacky Viking Crew who were really up to make the celebrants enjoy. Apart from food and ambiance, I like all the Vikings’ staff. They were nice and courteous – I hope this won’t change.
I’m happy to see Filipino Delicacies being integrated in the dessert counter
