At  Chiang Mai International Airport  , I meet other 3 other delegates from the Philippines. At the airport a lot will offer a free sim card for your phone and will only ask an initial load of 100 baht .  Maybe we are not just tech  savy butg those who got the sim were not  able to use it for it can’t connect. In my case I just decided to use my Ipad for communication. Besides “face time” is free.  Also, one may not bother to bring plenty of Bahts in going to Thailand because in the airport (booth Bangkok and Chiag Mai)  there are plenty of money chager at a good rate. Just bring a few bahts in case you arrive late in the evening for your taxis, etc.

Getting to Alpine Golf Resort was easy because we were picked at the airport by the service vehicle of the  hotel.

Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai is situated in a valley overlooked by mountains and forests. It’s one of the more unusual finds is a delightful away – from – it – all spot that offers something of everything – golf, accommodation, SPA, meeting facilities, activities, and peace and quiet amidst scenic hills.

Alpine Golf Resort has an 18 hole Par 72 Championship course that will test even experienced golfers. The course at Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai was designed by Ronald M Garl from Florida and is located in the San Kamphaeng district of Chiang Mai, approx 25km East of the City. Alpine Golf Resort has one of the most beautiful courses in Chiang Mai with its outstanding natural views. There are plenty of facilities for both golfers and non-golfers to enjoy so Alpine Golf Resort is ideal for all the family.
