Chiang Mai, Thailand Travel Part 2: Getting to Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai, Thailand Part 3 – Chiang Mai: The Rose of the North

This is the 4th issue of my Chiang Mai, Thailand Trip series.

At  Chiang Mai International Airport  , I meet  3 other delegates from the Philippines. It is nice to note that at the airport, a lot  offers a free sim card for your phone and will only ask an initial load of 100 baht . Unfortunately, a lot of us were not able to use the sim card as they were not working on our phones. In my case, I just decided to use my Ipad for communication. Besides “face time” is free.  Also, one may not bother to bring plenty of Bahts in going to

Another thing which I like about airports in Thailand  (Bangkok and Chiang Mai)  was the presence  of a good number of money changer. These money changers  offer  good exchange rates as well. Just bring a few bahts in case you arrive late in the evening for your taxi fares, etc.
